When we save the life of a cow that had been milked its entire life, it is not a small positive karma. Or for that matter, the life of an ox that has carried heavy loads of a bullock-cart that is saved and looked after instead of the cruel end it would otherwise face.
With common sense, we can derive abundance from the aged animal elders to create win-win situation to sustain and save more lives.
