"Ari" is an ancient word that means "To Know", in the languages of Sanskrit & Tamil.
An Ariven is the One who is Awake. The One who Knows.

Mission:
We are a non-profit international community of Ariven (the Awake), united in Oneness and purpose, creating self-sustained sanctuaries for retired cows and oxen that have been used by humans that would otherwise end up in a slaughterhouse. Our purpose is to make an impact in addressing the issues of hunger, animal cruelty and the environment. Ariven Community has non-profit status under the auspices of the International Humanities Center, a California-based 501[c](3) nonprofit organization.

As Ariven, we have an inspired compassionate work before us- to allow our intent to unfold. Our intent is a world where-  humanity embraces 'ahimsa', supreme peace & non-violence towards any life; where hunger on our planet is abolished; where we are sustained by healthy and holistic vegetarian food supplies; and where as a global spiritual community, we are One.

We are fortunate to have Amma's blessings that inspire & lead us!
